Although primarily targeted towards young boys, Power Rangers has always had a strong female fanbase. This is largely thanks to the wonderfully realized female Rangers present in each season. Not only are many of them incredible characters, but women like Jen, Lauren, and Amelia rank among the strongest Power Rangers of all time.

Beginning with Mighty Morphin's iconic Kimberly Ann Hart and Trini Kwan, female Power Rangers have been just as critical in the fight against evil as their male counterparts. While most commonly in the roles of Pink and Yellow Rangers, women in the series have also worn Blue, Purple, Green, Orange, White, Silver, Black, and even Red. Several female Rangers have led their teams, while others have filled far larger boots than those of a Ranger.

10 Taylor Was the Original Leader of the Wild Force Rangers

Taylor Earhardt is the Yellow Wild Force Ranger in Power Rangers Wild Force. Also known as the Soaring Eagle, Taylor is a skilled swordswoman with the ability to fly and a background of serving in the Air Force. Prior to the arrival of Cole, Taylor led the Wild Force Rangers in their fight against the Orgs for over a year.

Taylor's powers come from the Yellow Eagle Zord, a creation of the Wildzord god, Animus. Besides her sword, Taylor is also capable of fighting with her claws and the Armadillo Puck. Besides giving her prior combat training, Taylor's time in the military made her a skilled markswoman, as seen when she briefly wields Eric's Quantum Defender.

9 Tori is One of the Best Female Fighters in Power Rangers

Tori Hanson is the Blue Wind Ranger in Power Rangers Ninja Storm. While initially one of the weakest students at the Wind Ninja Academy, Tori becomes a sensei at her alma mater after helping to save the world from Lothor. Even without her Ranger powers, Tori is one of the best female fighters in the series, and she possesses a number of unique abilities attributed to her ninja magic.

Without even Morphing, Tori has super speed, the ability to duplicate herself, and, as a master of her chosen element, she can run on and control water. As the Blue Wind Ranger, Tori mainly fights with her Sonic Fin, a blaster that turns soundwaves into devastating attacks. In Power Rangers Dino Thunder, Tori defeats the Yellow Dino Ranger, Kira, in a fight, and in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, she's chosen by the Sentinel Knight to join his new team of elite Rangers.

8 Jen Led the Time Force Rangers to Victory

Jen Scotts is the Pink Time Force Ranger in Power Rangers Time Force. Coming from the year 3000, the Time Force powers are the most technologically advanced of any in the television series. And, of the four Time Force members who travel back in time to 2001, Jen is by far the most skilled, with no one ever questioning her command over the team for a second.

Famously awesome as she is, Jen struggles to compare to other great female Rangers in strength because of her lack of both civilian powers and transformations. Her approach to combating Ransik and his evil Mutants is instead fairly simple, with her relying exclusively on her basic Chrono Sabers and V-5. During Power Rangers Wild Force, Jen displays the ability to briefly fight the Mut-Orgs while unmorphed with just a laser rifle, which raises the question of what she could accomplish with a better power set.

7 Lily is an Elite Member of the Order of the Claw

Lily Chilman is the Yellow Jungle Ranger in Power Rangers Jungle Fury. Having spent her life training at the Pai Zhua Academy, Lily is a master martial artist and possesses the ability to weaponize her cheetah animal spirit. By the end of the season, Lily earns her Master's Stripes in recognition of her incredible talent.

Most commonly, Lily fights with the Jungle Bo and Jungle Mace, having been trained to use them by Master Mao and Master Phant, respectively. Following her journey to the afterlife and her acquisition of the penguin animal spirit, Lily obtains Jungle Master Mode. In this form, Lily gets a massive power boost, as well as the ability to fly using jet boosters.

6 Amelia is a Rafkonian Red Ranger

Amelia Jones is the Red Cosmic Ranger in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. After spending two years as the Pink Dino Fury Ranger, Amelia naturally slips into the role of leader during the final war against Lord Zedd. Along with years of experience and an upgraded version of her previous Morpher courtesy of Billy Cranston, Amelia possesses all the additional powers that come with being Rafkonian.

As the Red Cosmic Ranger, Amelia primarily fights with the Ankylo Hammer. Even without her Ranger powers, Amelia is telepathic, capable of reading minds, projecting memories, and communicating without speaking. Amelia protected Earth from both of her parents, Void Knight and Void Queen when she was a Pink Ranger, and she went on to save the entire universe as a Red Ranger.

5 Chloe is the Only Pink Ranger with a Battlizer

Chloe Ashford is the Pink Hyperforce Ranger in Power Rangers Hyperforce. While the canonicity of Hyperforce is questionable, Chloe's status as one of the strongest Rangers ever isn't. Like the rest of the Hyperforce Rangers, Chloe's Morpher is even more technologically advanced than the Time Force Rangers' Chrono Morphers, but what really makes her stand out is her Battlizer.

Using the Pink Power Gem given to her by King Arthur, Chloe can transform into the Pink Battle Warrior. In this form, Chloe gains the ability to fly, and her speed and strength are increased substantially. Regardless of whether she's transformed or not, Chloe wields the Hyperion Bow, which shifts into the Hyperion Scythe. Chloe displayed her incredible power across all of history, including when she easily defeated the Yellow Hyperforce Ranger, Jack, during the time she spent serving her evil father.

4 Lauren is the Strongest Samurai Ranger in History

Lauren Shiba is the true Red Samurai Ranger in Power Rangers Super Samurai. From a young age, Lauren's entire life became dedicated to training, and to mastering the Sealing Symbol so she could defeat Master Xandred. Because of this, she is the most skilled member of the current Samurai Rangers, who themselves are the strongest generation of the team ever.

The first heroic female Red Ranger in Power Rangers, Lauren has access to all the same transformations as her little brother, Jayden. This means Lauren can enter Super Samurai Mode, Shogun Mode, and Shark Mode. Also, like Jayden, Lauren wields the Fire Smasher, but because Lauren is the true heir of the Shiba family, her Fire power is far more potent than his.

3 Udonna is the Greatest Sorceress of All Time

Udonna is the White Mystic Ranger in Power Rangers Mystic Force. Widely acknowledged as the most powerful sorceress in the world, Udonna is nearly unbeatable even without her Ranger powers. There are few limits to Udonna's magical abilities; she's able to train the Mystic Force Rangers into master sorcerers themselves in only a year, and her son, Nick, is only as powerful as he is because of his parentage.

As the White Mystic Ranger, Udonna uses her Snow Staff to primarily wield the element of ice. Repeatedly compared to her husband and closest friend, Udonna's strength can be assumed as nearly on par with Leanbow and Daggeron's, with them arguably being the series' two strongest heroes. The main knock against Udonna is that, for as powerful as she's meant to be, she's repeatedly beaten and kidnapped throughout Mystic Force.

2 Gia Can Transform into Any Previous Yellow Ranger

Gia Moran is the Yellow Megaforce Ranger in Power Rangers Megaforce and the Yellow Super Megaforce Ranger in Power Rangers Super Megaforce. Throughout both seasons she's in, Gia never struggles with anything and is a consistently fearsome Ranger. Whether she's in her base form, her Super Mega form, or her unique ability to access the powers of every previous Yellow Ranger, Gia is completely unflappable.

Gia's preferred method of combat as the Yellow Super Megaforce Ranger is to duel-wield cutlasses and swing them around at her enemies. She can also fire yellow energy balls from her hands. These powers, along with the Ranger Keys she uses to become past Yellow Rangers, were created by Gosei, who learned how to do this from Zordon.

1 Karone Nearly Conquered the Universe

Karone is the second Pink Galaxy Ranger in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Prior to becoming a Ranger, Karone was Astronema, the main villain of Power Rangers in Space. While her Pink Ranger powers are impressive, it's the combination of them with the abilities she displays as Astronema that make her stand out as the strongest woman in Power Rangers.

Raised from a young age to be the heir of Dark Specter, the Grand Monarch of Evil, Karone underwent harsher training than any other Ranger. Not only did this make her into a master martial artist, but she also gained several powers, such as super strength, teleportation, the ability to shoot energy blasts and ropes from her fingers, shapeshifting, and hypnosis. As the Pink Galaxy Ranger, Karone inherits the Pink Quasar Saber, one of the strongest weapons in the universe, from the late Kendrix Morgan, as well as the even more legendary Lights of Orion.
